The rodeo is coming to Edmonton and I would like to know how to make people aware of the abuse of animals in a rodeo. I must say I'm fairly new, as I've decided it's time to be more than someone complaining to a few selected friends and I must become active in my plight.
It's difficult in "cattle country" tothe cowboys' eyes, but I'll try....
Thank you,

Welll usually you will want to get on peoples better side in order for them to listen to your opions and acknowledge them, but. If this is a frustration act, well piss people of by freeing the animals.

Tanya,
There are many ways tothe eyes of animal abusers.
I would recommend you read: Animal Rights: Your Child or the Dog? by Gary Francione. It's an excellent book on animals rights, and there is information regarding rodeos in that book. Second, if you talk to the student association at the local university, there is most likely an animal rights organization/group formed already. Try to hook up with them. Sometimes it's easier pooling your voices together. Additionally, you can make up flyers and distribute them throughout the city to raise public awareness on the cruelty of rodeos.
Good for you in taking a stand!
